NY Times Econ Journalist: Bailout Plan Doesn't Add Up

Here's what the feels like IMO:



The Administration/GOP have set a bag of poop on fire, thrown it on the doorstep of the Capitol, and are waiting for the Democrats to put it out.



How can I have any confidence that Paulson is telling the truth or is competent? I realize that we need the credit in our economy, but there should be a way to get a 2nd opinion on the diagnosis before we move to the chemotherapy.
