A movie. A man adopts a puppy. He loses his sight, possibly saving the puppy. He abandons the dog after his accident. The dog finds him and refuses to leave him alone. Eventually, the man lets the dog back in. It becomes, without training, a seeing-eye dog for the man. It sacrifices itself by saving the man's life, possibly either by stepping out in front of a speeding car, or rescuing him from terrorists. Roll credits. Men, women, and children cry. I collect Oscar. The End...?
